Project scheduling is a method of plotting, tracking, and controlling the numerous activities involved in construction, and is imperative to setting clear and realistic milestones, as well as managing and monitoring the progress of the project. If used correctly, this can be an effective instrument for not only assessing the progress of a project, but also for mitigating project delays and determining the impact of delays on subsequent construction progress.
