It is not unusual for significant disputes to arise between an association and a developer when the project is ready to be transferred from the developer to the association. Strategy is experienced in representing both the association and developer in inspecting and documenting the conditions of the assets transferred, and in determining if there are construction defects or other issues impacting the owners.

Our technique is to identify the issues and provide a detailed plan for a remedy. This includes providing an estimate of the additional cost, participating in the resolution of any disputes, and/or acting as the owners’ agents in observing and commenting on the execution of the remediation.
