Position: Sr. Consultant
Reports To: CEO
Location: Northeast (NYC preferred)
General Responsibilities:
As a Senior Consultant for Strategy, LLC you are responsible for acquiring, executing and managing a wide range of engagements involving project scheduling, delay and acceleration analysis, claims development, economic impact and analysis, and other statistical analyses depending upon the specific issues involved.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the business development efforts and acquisition of new work and related engagements.
- Participate in junior consultant recruiting efforts both on-campus and through other networking opportunities.
- Assist in the supervision and development, including active participation in the professional growth of less experienced staff.
- Responsible for the effective and efficient execution and project management of multiple engagements.
- Responsible for engagement planning and interaction with client personnel as to on-going business with existing clients.
- Assist in the coordination and communication with clients and their staff.
- Provide a model of cooperation and a positive role model for others for the development of an environment of teamwork and team success.
- Provide detailed analyses of project schedule delays, cost overruns, productivity studies and other issues related to the design and construction of complex projects.
- Ability to develop computer models of project schedules and contractor production processes utilizing various software programs.
- Proven testifying experience.
- Ability to conduct effective peer review of casework performed by junior consultants.
Position Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in construction management and/or project scheduling industry experience coupled with construction dispute-related services consulting background.
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication and presentation skills related to both business development and testifying responsibilities.
- Demonstrate efficient, flexible, creative problem solving skills.
- Possess intermediate or above computer skills, including applications such as Primavera Project Planner and other project schedule and cost management applications/software.
- BS degree required in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Construction.
